Giving our Associates the opportunity to improve your knowledge, education, and skillset is a priority at MWHC. Please use the links below to see what opportunities and necessary training are available.

 Clinical Education
Our culture of excellence drives us to be the best clinically.  Each clinical position has specfiic requirements for ongoing education and training.  To register for a class, please click on one of the links below.  Can't find what you're looking for or not sure what you need?  RNs and CNAs, please call the Nursing Center of Excellence at 540.741.1790.  Other clinicians and techs, please call Human Resources at 540.741.2500.

Introducing CE Direct - A new way to get your continuing education and certifications.

CE Direct is an online education tool that is available for all nurses and other clinicians.  There are more than 700 ANCC-accredited courses available, 70 content reviews for nursing certification exams, and 600 online textbook topics.  To begin, log in to CE Direct.  When prompted, enter your Associate ID number and the password "education."

 The Learning Institute
Advancing Mary Washington Healthcare's Journey to becoming a Learning Organization.

The Learning Institute uses a proactive, systemic approach to Leadership and Associate development. Our courses are designed to:

• Increase alignment of programs and services to promote organization-wide learning
• Foster departmental and organizational effectiveness (AOS, teambuilding, coaching, etc.)
• Enhance Associates's strengths through identifying and developing future leaders
