Vyshnavi Anandan, MD

Vyshnavi Anandan, MD, raised in the suburbs of Boston, MA, completed her undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, earning a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with a minor in Visual Arts.

Following her undergraduate education, she pursued a Certificate in Graphic Design at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University in Boston, MA. Dr. Anandan then advanced her medical training at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, where she received her Doctor of Medicine degree.

In her free time, she delights in photography, painting, hiking, and baking.

Harish Appiakannan, MD

Harish Appiakannan, MD, originally from India, completed his undergraduate studies at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience with a minor in Psychology.

He continued his medical education at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, where he was awarded his Doctor of Medicine degree.

In his leisure time, Dr. Appiakannan enjoys powerlifting, watching sports, and playing video games. He also cherishes playing tennis with his father and brother and is keen on learning coding, particularly in Python.

Paul Armstrong, MD

Paul Armstrong, MD, a native of Richmond, VA, completed his undergraduate education at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Sustainability.

He continued his studies at the same institution, where he was awarded his Doctor of Medicine degree.

In his leisure time, Dr. Armstrong enjoys running, biking, reading, dining out, and traveling.

Andrés Burbano, MD

Andrés Burbano, MD, originally from Cali, Colombia, completed his undergraduate education at the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with a minor in Latin American Studies.

He furthered his studies with a Master of Science in Medical Sciences at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, TX. Dr. Burbano then pursued his medical degree at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine in Edinburg, TX.

In his leisure time, Dr. Burbano enjoys cycling around Fredericksburg and discovering new dining experiences with his fiancé. Together, they take pleasure in walking their blue-heeler chihuahua mix, Violeta, at dog parks or along trails by the Rappahannock River. They are avid travelers, having explored five countries in the past two years, and relish hiking during their trips. A passionate sports enthusiast, Dr. Burbano fervently supports the Houston Texans and Chelsea FC.

Shivram Guruju, DO

Shivram Guruju, DO, a native of Herndon, VA, completed his undergraduate studies at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He furthered his education at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA, where he received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Dr. Guruju delights in playing guitar, experimenting with new recipes, discovering new dining establishments, golfing, and indulging his passion for automobiles.

Andrew Han, DO

Andrew Han, DO, a native of Northern Virginia, completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, earning a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science and a Master of Education in Exercise Physiology. He furthered his medical education at Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Lynchburg, VA, where he was awarded his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree.

In his leisure time, Dr. Han enjoys spending moments with his wife, exploring new dining experiences, working out, and playing pickleball.

Ateeya Hessami, MD

Ateeya Hessami, MD, originally from Northern Virginia, completed her undergraduate education at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, earning a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. She advanced her studies at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, where she was awarded her Doctor of Medicine degree.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Hessami finds joy in painting, baking, and cherishing moments with friends and family.

Kyle Martin, MD

Kyle Martin, MD, a native of Huntingtown, MD, completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a minor in Psychology. He advanced his medical education at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree.

In his leisure time, Dr. Martin enjoys walking his dog, hiking, collecting vinyl records, and watching television.

Madison Novice, MD

Madison Novice, MD, hailing from Bloomfield Hills, MI, completed her undergraduate studies at Duke University in Durham, NC, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Evolutionary Anthropology with a minor in Chemistry. She then pursued her medical education at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, MI, where she was awarded her Doctor of Medicine degree.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Novice enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new dining experiences, traveling, and staying active—she is a passionate enthusiast of Orangetheory Fitness.

Alyssa Pisano, DO

Alyssa Pisano, DO, a native of Elmhurst, IL, pursued her undergraduate studies at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, IL, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She furthered her education at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, IL, where she received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree.

Outside her professional life, Dr. Pisano takes pleasure in spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys playing pickleball and golf, exploring new restaurants, and indulging in reading during her leisure hours.

Tamara Scott, MD

Tamara Scott, MD, a native of Madison, WI, completed her undergraduate studies at Carleton College in Northfield, MN, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with minors in Biochemistry and Neuroscience. She continued her education at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA, where she was awarded her Doctor of Medicine degree.

In her leisure time, Dr. Scott enjoys playing tennis, baking, crocheting, brewing kombucha, and playing the violin.

Andy Yu, MD, originally from Florida, completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. He continued his medical education at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, where he was awarded his Doctor of Medicine degree.

In his free time, Dr. Yu enjoys playing badminton, working out, savoring exquisite cuisine, and exploring the great outdoors.
