Our pharmacy team at Mary Washington Hospital provides drug distribution and clinical services to patients in a safe, responsible manner. We proudly demonstrate a commitment of quality service to our patients, the public and our co-workers.
Moxi
In 2021,
Mary Washington Hospital welcomed Moxi, a robotic hospital assistant, as the newest member of staff. Moxi, created
by Diligent Robotics, is a point-to-point delivery robot, meaning it can
retrieve items in one department and deliver them to another. We now have
four Moxi robots on staff.
Pyxis
Mary Washington Hospital uses BD PyxisTM as our automated dispensing technology. Pyxis provides enhanced medication availability with increased security and control of medications.
Epic
Mary Washington Healthcare uses Epic as our electronic health record (EHR) software. Epic software makes it possible for every patient to have a single, comprehensive medical record that informs and is informed by their health experiences.
