About This Event
This class meets virtually on Microsoft Teams. Arrangements will be made for class book and materials to be picked up prior to the class date. Participants will need to have access to a computer/laptop/tablet with camera and microphone.
This 2.5-hour FREE class is for both mom and support partner and focuses on the basics of breastfeeding your newborn, answering such questions as how often to feed, how to position the baby, and how to latch a baby.
The class also includes a description of pumps, when to start pumping, milk storage and returning to work. The class is taught by a board-certified lactation consultant. Parents who attend report less anxiety with breastfeeding and feeling more confident with what to expect.
