Amber M. Barron, APRN,WHNP-BC
Amber M Barron, MSN, APRN, WHNP-BC, AGNP-BC, is a certified women's health nurse practitioner who is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a certified adult-geriatric primary care nurse practitioner who is board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
She received her MS in Nursing from Duke University School of Nursing, Durham, NC as well as her post-graduate certification in adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner at Duke University School of Nursing. She is currently completing her adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner post graduate certification from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, Philadelphia, PA.
Before joining Mary Washington Healthcare, Amber worked as a nurse practitioner providing inpatient cardiology care. She is a military spouse and veteran and in her spare time enjoys spending time with her husband and two children as well as reading and going to the beach.
