Ariel Freeman, FNP-BC,MSN
Ariel Freeman, MSN, FNP-BC, CCK, is an experienced advanced practice nurse with a distinguished background in cardiology and critical care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with honors from the University of Texas in Austin in 1995 and later completed her Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at George Washington University in Washington, DC, in 2013.
Ms. Freeman has over 11 years of experience as a nurse practitioner specializing in comprehensive cardiac care. Throughout her career, she has focused on promoting health and wellness across the healthcare continuum. Her professional journey includes serving as a critical care nurse in the US Navy and as a Flight Nurse in the US Air Force, experiences that shaped her strong clinical foundation.
Ms. Freeman holds certification in Cardiovascular Care from the American College of Cardiology, is board certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and maintains certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support {ACLS). She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Cardiology, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners.
Outside of her professional commitments, Ms. Freeman enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, and rock climbing with her family. She is also passionate about painting and creating art.
