Aryles Hedjar, MD
Aryles Hedjar, MD, is a board-certified internist by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He completed his doctor of medicine degree at the Eastern Virginia Medical School, in Norfolk, VA, and completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hemotology/oncology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, in Manhasset/New Hyde Park, NY.
Dr. Hedjar has contributed to several research projects and case reports in the fields of hematology and oncology. His work includes a 2019 case report on pancytopenia and thrombotic microangiopathy in B12 deficiency, and an ongoing study on ctDNA dynamics in metastatic pancreatic cancer, with anticipated publication in 2024.
In addition to his medical career, Dr. Hedjar has diverse personal interests. He has played the clarinet for 11 years, enjoys learning trivia, and is passionate about traveling, hiking, and biking. He also has proficiency in French and some knowledge of Spanish and Berber.
