Chetan Pai, DO

Dr. Pai, a gastroenterologist since 2010, sees patients in Fredericksburg and Stafford, Virginia. He is currently not accepting new patients to focus on his existing care. Dr. Pai has played a key role in expanding the practice to meet community needs.

He earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital, specializing in gastroenterology, hepatology, and advanced endoscopy (ERCP & EUS). Board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology, he is the only local physician certified to perform EUS. His specialties include therapeutic endoscopy, colon screening, GERD, liver disease, and bile duct/pancreatic disorders.

Dr. Pai is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He recently served as Medical Director of The Endoscopy Treatment Center at Mary Washington Hospital. Dr. Pai is also the practice’s Managing Partner and holds an MBA from George Washington University. He has been recognized as one of the region's top gastroenterologists by Northern Virginia Magazine since 2012.

In his free time, Dr. Pai enjoys boating, biking, and working out with his wife and two daughters in Stafford County.
