Chima U. Ndubizu, MD,FACOG
Mary Washington Healthcare is privileged to welcome Dr. Chima Ndubizu, MD, FACOG, to our Maternal-Fetal Medicine team. Dr. Ndubizu, a distinguished specialist in perinatology, is committed to providing expert care and treatment for both mother and fetus in high-risk and complex pregnancy situations. She offers advanced treatment options and works in close collaboration with each patient’s OB/GYN to manage a diverse array of scenarios, from diabetes and hypertension to pregnancies complicated by cancer or multiple gestations.
Dr. Ndubizu brings extensive expertise to her role. She is board certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine and OBGYN, and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her background includes serving as a clinical instructor in maternal-fetal medicine and conducting pivotal research on subjects such as HIV during pregnancy, maternal cardiac disease, and COVID-19 in pregnancy. She is also a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has been recognized with numerous awards for her excellence in research and teaching.
