Daisy Tilghman, PA-C

Daisy Tilghman is a compassionate and skilled Physician Assistant specializing in upper extremity orthopedics. She works closely with Dr. Hashemi, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of upper extremity injuries, including conditions of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. Daisy also assists in managing a wide range of orthopedic traumas, providing comprehensive care to patients in both clinic and surgical settings.

Daisy's enthusiasm for orthopedics began during her clinical rotations in PA school, including a formative experience at a VA hospital, where she saw the profound impact orthopedic injuries have on patients' everyday lives.

She particularly enjoys the hands-on nature of her work, combining detailed patient care in the clinic with assisting in the operating room to refine her technical skills and help ensure each surgical day runs smoothly.

Daisy earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Marine Science from the University of South Carolina and stayed in Columbia to complete her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. A proud Gamecock, she enjoys cheering on her alma mater and connecting with her community.

When not at work, Daisy loves spending time with family, friends, and her beloved cat, Carson. She is passionate about helping her patients regain function and mobility, enabling them to return to the activities that matter most to them.
