Emily J. Drouin, DNP,FNP

Emily Drouin is a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), with a diverse background in primary care, acute care, and public health. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in August 2023, where she completed a quality improvement project on mental health screening in collegiate athletes. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the same institution, awarded in 2019.

Emily previously worked as a Registered Nurse at Scripps Health Primary Care Clinic, where she provided patient triage, education, and comprehensive care. Prior to that, she worked in acute/telemetry care at Scripps Hospital Encinitas, where she supported stroke patients and mentored new staff, as well as coordinated care at Scripps Gastroenterology Clinic. She also assisted in the COVID-19 pandemic response as a public health nurse with the County of San Diego.

In addition to her work as an RN, Emily is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and holds several licenses across multiple states, including California, Minnesota, and Alabama. She is fluent in French and holds Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
