Erin M. Ford, MSN,CNM

Erin Ford, MSN, CNM, is a certified nurse midwife. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, Kentucky. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia Southern University in Savannah, Georgia.

Mrs. Ford has been providing care to women in the Fredericksburg region since 2016. Before becoming a midwife, she served as a labor and delivery nurse providing direct nursing care in triage, labor, deliveries, postpartum recovery, newborn care, and other surgical procedures. As a midwife, Mrs. Ford provides comprehensive women's care including gynecologic health, prenatal, pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum care to women of all ages.

Mrs. Ford is committed to supporting physiologic birth as well as the promotion of health, safety, and education by delivery of compassionate, evidence-based care. She believes that everyone deserves care that is high quality, evidence based, and safe. She aims to empower her patients to become advocates for themselves. She is a member of the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses as well as the American College of Nurse-Midwives.

Outside of work, Mrs. Ford enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She also enjoys gardening, yoga, and baking.
