John C. Cardone, MD

Dr. John Cardone is a highly trained, experienced cardiothoracic surgeon and strategic contributor to the award-winning Advanced Cardiac Care team at Mary Washington Hospital.

He specializes in the excision of cardiac tumors, coronary artery revascularization, complex valve repair and replacement, atrial fibrillation correction surgery, and open and endovascular surgery of the thoracic and abdominal aorta.

His background and success in performing over 3,500 cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical procedures have contributed to Mary Washington Healthcare's many technological advances, including minimally invasive Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR).
