Julie Flanagan, CNM,WHNP-BC

Julie Flanagan was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and grew up in Crofton, Maryland. She achieved a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Columbus State University in 2009 and subsequently served as an officer in the United States Army for 9 years, predominantly as a labor and delivery nurse. Her passion for women’s health and maternity care inspired her to complete a Master’s of Science in Nursing with a focus on Women’s Health and Midwifery at Georgetown University. She graduated with honors and was board certified in Women’s Health and Midwifery in May 2019.

Julie’s experience has equipped her to serve women in life, pregnancy, and birth. She is passionate about pregnancy, breastfeeding and low intervention labor and delivery. She is also dedicated to family-centered care and ensuring women have a positive birthing experience. Julie lives in Stafford, Virginia with her husband and two children. She enjoys paddle boarding, reading and family game nights.
