Kara Paxton, MSN,AGACNP-BC

Kara Paxton, AGACNP-BC, received a BS in nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, VA, in 2015 and an MS in nursing, adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner in 2023. She has competencies in cardiac devices such as Impella, IABP, ECMO, Alsius/Hypothermia Protocol, and Swan-Ganz Catheters.

She is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, cardiac medicine (CMC) and is a certified critical-care registered nurse (CCRN).
