Meredith P. Whittaker, MD
Dr. Whittaker is a board-certified and fellowship-trained breast surgeon specializing in benign and malignant diseases of the breast. Her clinical interests include oncoplastic and minimally invasive techniques to treat breast cancer, nipple sparing mastectomy, hidden scar surgery, and aesthetic flat closure. She completed undergraduate training at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Subsequently, she attended Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia followed by General Surgery Residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, AZ. She then completed a fellowship in breast surgical oncology at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD.
Dr. Whittaker is an active member of several esteemed organizations, serving on committees for both The American Society of Breast Surgeons and American Medical Women’s Association.
Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys being outdoors, reading non-fiction, and traveling.
