Norman Bernstein, MD

Dr. Norman Bernstein is board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases. He earned his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He completed his internship at Montefiore Hospital - University Health Center of Pittsburgh. His residency was completed at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. Dr. Bernstein serves as the Medical Director of The Wellness Program. He has received many special awards and honors and has written articles, abstracts, and papers.

He is a Fellow at the American College of Physicians and a member of the Infectious Disease Society of America. He holds a training certificate in HIV Medicine from the American Academy of HIV Medicine. He is the attending physician for the Chest Clinic (Tuberculosis) for the Rappahannock Health District, Virginia Department of Health. Dr. Bernstein is a preceptor for second-year medical students of the VCU School of Medicine and holds the rank of Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine. Dr. Bernstein has practiced in the area for over 20 years.
