Dr. Peter Wong is currently working part-time, seeing patients two days per week, and is not accepting new patients.
Dr. Wong is board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He earned his BA from Virginia Tech in 1988 and his medical degree from the University of Virginia in 1992. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Gastroenterology.
Dr. Wong has held faculty positions, published research, and received numerous awards. He has presented his research at national conferences and earned several military honors, including the Meritorious Service Medal. He specializes in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, with a focus on GERD, esophageal motility disorders, and liver diseases.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Wong is an active member of his church and enjoys swimming, jogging, Tai Kwon Do (black belt), and spending time with his family. A passionate classical musician, he is a first violinist in multiple ensembles and has performed with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.
