Sebhat A. Erqou, MD,PhD
Mary Washington Healthcare welcomes Dr. Sebhat Erqou to Mary Washington Cardiology. Dr. Erqou is skilled in preventive and general cardiology including management of hypertension, hyperlipidemia, atrial fibrillation, coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, and heart failure.
Previously, Dr. Erqou was the Assistant Professor of Medicine at Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence, RI, and at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, NY. He had hospital assignments as a cardiologist at Providence VA Medical Center, The Miriam Hospital, and Rhode Island Hospital, all in Providence, RI.
Dr. Erqou is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology by the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, and Echocardiology by the American Society of Echocardiology.
