Shrunjay R. Patel, DPM,FACFAS

Shrunjay R. Patel, DPM, FACFAS, is a board-certified Foot and Ankle Surgeon specializing in trauma care, reconstructive surgery, and limb salvage. He completed a fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center, focusing on trauma and limb preservation, and a residency in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, where he served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Patel's expertise includes complex fracture care, deformity correction, peripheral nerve surgery and diabetic amputation prevention. Dr. Patel has researched, and published on complex pathologies like Charcot neuroarthropathy and has lectured nationally and internationally on orthoplastic and Ilizarov external fixation techniques to educate other clinicians and to improve patient outcomes.

Board certified in Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle and Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Dr. Patel has been an active member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Podiatric Medical Association since 2011.
