Dr. Neary is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. After completing medical school at Eastern Virginia Medical School, he completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Medstar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore. He had additional training in trauma orthopedics at the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at University of Maryland Medical Center as well as pediatric orthopedics at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center.
Dr. Neary then went on to complete his fellowship with Medstar Orthopedics. During his fellowship, Dr. Neary worked with multiple college and professional teams including Towson University, Morgan State University, Baltimore Ravens, and Washington Wizards.
Dr. Neary specializes in arthroscopic shoulder, hip and knee surgery. His interests also include fracture management and joint replacement surgery.
Dr. Neary lives in Stafford with his wife, 2 children, and dogs. He enjoys running, skiing, and water sports in his spare time.
