a department of Mary Washington Hospital

We have moved to a new office! You can find us at 1300 Hospital Dr., Suite 301, in the Regional Cancer Center building.

Our goal is to provide high quality, comprehensive and compassionate care to Adult patients with Rheumatic Disease. Rheumatology is a sub-specialty of internal medicine devoted to the diagnosis and management of rheumatic diseases. Rheumatologists mainly deal with clinical problems involving joints, soft tissues and allied conditions of connective tissues. Our Rheumatology team treats a variety of autoimmune diseases, inflammatory conditions and osteoporosis. In addition, we may provide initial consultation services for musculoskeletal pain conditions.

There are more than 100 types of rheumatic diseases, including but not limited to, Rheumatoid arthritis, Systemic lupus, Systemic Sclerosis, Systemic Vasculitis, Osteoarthritis, Gout, Spondyloarthropathy, Osteoporosis and Psoriatic arthritis. Many of these are very serious diseases that can be difficult to diagnose and treat. Many of the autoimmune diseases may require various blood tests and imaging modalities to best help diagnose and plan treatment.

The complete staff are very friendly welcoming and they make me feel welcomed and not a bother to them. I love each and every one of the staff there.

A Satisfied Patient
