Mary Washington Healthcare Imaging Center Receives Accreditation

Fredericksburg, VA, December 4th, 2017 – The Imaging Center for Women of North Stafford received accreditation from the American College of Radiology (ACR) in Mammography. The Imaging Center for Women at North Stafford recently opened to provide convenient imaging services in Stafford and Prince William counties.

ACR accreditation is recognized as the gold standard in medical imaging. The Mammography Accreditation Program provides peer review and feedback on staff qualifications, equipment, quality control and assurance, image quality and dose. The accreditation is required for all U.S. facilities.
