Stafford Hospital's New CT Scanners Provide More Timely Care and Crisper Images for Patients

Fredericksburg, Va. (January 24, 2018) – Stafford Hospital recently installed a new Philips Ingenuity 128-slice CT scanner and a Philips Ingenuity 64-slice CT scanner. The new CT scanners feature the latest advances in lower radiation dose imaging and include cutting-edge technology to personalize image quality based on the patients’ needs.

The Philips CT scanners provide great benefits for patients, including radiation dose reduction and CT-assisted guidance for biopsies and therapy treatments. Patients with metal implants, such as a joint replacement, will benefit from improved visualization to assist radiologists with diagnosis.
