Healing Through Support: Perinatal Bereavement at MWHC

We know the loss of a pregnancy can be devastating and overwhelming, but please know you are not alone. There are times when—despite the best efforts of parents, physicians and the availability of the best technology—death occurs through miscarriage, stillbirth, or neonatal death. We understand you may be experiencing a wide range of emotions and we are here to help through this most difficult of times.

Tammy Ruiz Ziegler is the perinatal bereavement coordinator at MWHC, and Tameka Franklin is a former patient of Tammy's and is now an associate at MWHC as well. They talked with us about the bereavement journey and the Healing Through Support group that meets monthly.
