Mary Washington Medical Group Welcomes Mussey, Sarber & Associates, PC

Fredericksburg, VA, September 18, 2023—Mary Washington Healthcare (MWHC) is pleased to announce that Mary Washington Medical Group (MWMG) recently welcomed Steven Mussey, MD, Lisa Sarber, MD, and their staff to Mary Washington Primary Care, located at 4535 Spotsylvania Parkway, Fredericksburg, VA 22407. The doctors and staff will join Amy Jones, DO, and Ellen Scarlett, NP at that location.

Steven Mussey, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician with nearly 30 years’ experience practicing internal medicine in the Fredericksburg region. Prior to his coming to Fredericksburg, Dr. Mussey was the Chief of Internal Medicine at Whiteman Air Force Hospital, Whiteman Air Force Base in Johnson County, Missouri. In addition, Dr. Mussey served his country as part of the Internal Medicine Team, 870th Contingency Hospital during Operation Desert Storm. In his free time, Dr. Mussey enjoys drawing and animating cartoons, hiking with his wife, searching for antiques and attending Weird Al and Devo concerts with his kids.

Lisa J. Sarber, MD, is also a board-certified internal medicine physician with nearly 30 years’ experience practicing internal medicine in the Fredericksburg region. Prior to her coming to Fredericksburg, Dr. Sarber was a general internist at USA MEDDAC, Ireland Army Community Hospital in Ft. Knox, KY. In her free time, Dr. Sarber enjoys spending time with family, walking, hiking, cooking, and reading.
