Mary Washington Healthcare Professionals Recognized as Fellows by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

Fredericksburg, VA, (August 7, 2024) – Mary Washington Healthcare (MWHC) proudly congratulates registered dietitians, Alice Bones Gonzalez and Whitney Christie on being recognized as Fellows by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the world's largest organization of food and nutrition professionals. Alice Bones Gonzalez, DHA, MS, RDN, FAND, serves as the Regional/Clinical Nutrition Manager at Mary Washington Healthcare, while Whitney Christie, MS, RD, CSO, CNSC, FAND, holds the position of Outpatient Oncology Dietitian at Mary Washington Healthcare's Regional Cancer Center. Alice has been with MWHC for 16 years and Whitney for 18 years.

Alice's exceptional leadership and expertise in clinical nutrition has made a significant impact on the patients and staff at MWHC. Her dedication to providing high-quality care and innovative solutions has earned her this well-deserved recognition. Whitney's invaluable contributions as an outpatient oncology dietitian have positively influenced the lives of countless individuals receiving cancer treatment at MWHC. Her commitment to improving the nutritional well-being of patients has been instrumental in their recovery and overall well-being.
