Mary Washington Healthcare offers advanced imaging services throughout our region. Board-certified radiologists and interventional radiology specialists perform imaging studies and therapeutic procedures on an inpatient and outpatient basis for children and adults. Our hospital-based imaging programs are fully accredited by the American College of Radiology, which ensures we are committed to the highest levels of quality and patient safety.

Interventional Radiology Services

Mary Washington Hospital offers the latest in advanced interventional radiology procedures, performed by board-certified interventional radiologists. Many of these procedures have replaced the need for surgery.

Some of the procedures performed in Interventional Radiology include:

Venous access (PICC lines, Port-a-cath, Dialysis grafts)

Many general diagnostic x-rays do not require an appointment. All other imaging services, and interventional radiology services, require an appointment.
