A diagnosis of cancer is the start of a unique journey, one that can often be challenging. To guide and support patients and their families, the Mary Washington Healthcare Regional Cancer Center offers a complimentary Cancer Nurse Navigator program.
Our Cancer Center Nurse Navigator program is a completely free, confidential service and does not require a physician's referral. For more information or to schedule an appointment please call 540.741.1211.
Cancer Nurse Navigators are dedicated registered nurses specially trained and experienced in cancer care. They provide information, guidance, compassionate and personalized support every step along the cancer journey - from diagnosis to treatment to survivorship. As the cancer patient's advocate, Nurse Navigators also identify any barriers to care and help locate the resources to overcome them.
The MWHC Regional Cancer Center understands the many aspects of your life
that can be affected by a cancer diagnosis, and are here for you. We have
free resources to help. Your Cancer Nurse Navigator can help you get connected
with these services.
