Most small injuries may be addressed at home without an emergency room visit. Sometimes, however, a trip to the hospital emergency room is necessary in order to obtain urgent treatment.
Generally speaking, it is a good idea to seek emergency care for your child any time you believe your child needs critical care, or displays any of the following symptoms:
