dedicated team strives to create a personalized birthing experience, with
nurses trained in various childbirth methods. Rest assured, our round-the-clock
staff includes in-house OB hospitalists, anesthesia providers, pediatric
hospitalists, and neonatologists, ensuring both you and your baby receive
expert care.
Following your baby's arrival, your family, including the newborn, can
enjoy staying in the same spacious room throughout your visit. Our family-centered
approach promotes bonding and allows you ample time to become acquainted
with your baby. Our skilled nurses and pediatric hospitalists from Children’s
National Hospital provide care, while certified lactation consultants
are available daily to assist new moms with breastfeeding.
Labor and Delivery
We provide:
- Around-the-clock in-house obstetricians for extra care and coverage
- Around-the-clock in-house neonatal providers, including Children's National
neonatologists, pediatric hospitalists, nurse practitioners, and bedside
nurses who specialize in newborn care.
- Continuous availability of in-house anesthesia providers, including anesthesiologists
and nurse anesthetists.
