Please bring the essentials: basic toiletries, pajamas or nightgowns, robe, and non-skid slippers. Please leave any valuables at home. Store dentures and eyeglasses in protective containers when not in use. The hospital cannot be responsible for the loss or damage of such items.
We also suggest you bring a complete list of all of your medications (including dosages) and any allergies.
All inpatient rooms are private rooms. Each contains a television, telephone, and bathroom. Patients may be transferred from room to room or unit to unit at the discretion of the nursing staff for the welfare of the patients, family and/or nursing unit in general. The patient and/or family will be notified of room changes.
WiFi is available for all our patients and visitors in patient rooms and waiting areas. It's easy to connect from your phone or tablet's WiFi settings; select MWHC-Guest and accept our terms of service. Please note that we prioritize critical hospital network traffic for providers and clinicians and also for systems and internet-connected clinical devices used in life-saving procedures. This means that your WiFi connection may be slow or delayed if there is a surge in priority traffic. We appreciate your understanding.
"Dining on Call" Room Service for patients allows you to order from a wide variety of choices, and have your meals delivered anytime you would like between 7:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Restrictions may apply based on a diet prescribed by Physician.
Good, nutritious meals delivered at the right time are an important part of a patient's stay. Patients order their meals through our "Dining on Call" program. This program offers greater variety and the option to order any time during operating hours. Room service associates can view patients' dietary restrictions to help them make choices appropriate for their diet. Patients can order their meals in advance and specify a delivery time. Friends and family members can order on behalf of the patient from any location.
